Much of the success with IVF is driven by the lab. Our 4,000 square foot lab was specifically designed to deliver the latest IVF services and is equipped to be the best available. The needs of a lab in 2016 are dramatically different than those of an IVF lab ten years ago, when embryos were transferred after 3 days and not biopsied, and when egg freezing was unavailable.
The Spring Lab was designed by a team of committed scientists who evaluated the needs of a modern IVF lab and anticipated forthcoming advances in the field. Years in development, our lab has been thought through to every detail, from where to place our top of the line equipment for optimal efficiency to how the entire lab is sealed, pressurized, and air filtered to protect embryos from chemical and particle contamination. It even includes an environmentally-controlled micromanipulation chamber for embryo sampling (PGD and PGS). This enables us to sample embryos without changing the conditions from those in the incubator.

A "clinical pregnancy" has a pregnancy sac seen in the uterus on ultrasound exam.
The "live birth rate" is the percentage of all IVF cycles that lead to a live birth. This rate does not include miscarriage or still birth and multiple-order births such as twins and triplets are counted as one pregnancy.
