The egg donation is the process by which a woman donates eggs for purposes of assisted reproduction or biomedical research. These oocytes are inseminated with sperm from the recipient's partner or sperm donor. Generated embryos are transferred to the uterus of the recipient woman in order to achieve pregnancy.
The receipt of oocyte is a secret and anonymous act that is done in women where it is scientifically and clinically indicated.
Our egg donors are healthy women in good mental and physical health, who are 18-30 years old. We want to assure our patients of the donor’s eggs quality, offering guarantees for egg donation cycles:
- a minimum of 8 mature eggs from the donor
- at least 2 embryos on day 5.
If the embryos do not reach the day of the transfer or if we only have 1 viable embryo the day of the transfer and the patient did not get pregnant, we offer another cycle of egg donation at no extra cost, excluding donor medication.
This warranty does not apply in case of severe male factor according to WHO criteria or when using testicular biopsy.
