Helena Blanca Ordóñez graduated from the University of Granada in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. During her university studies, she worked alongside the University of Granada’s Departments of Botany and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) Soil and Symbiotic Systems Microbiology Department in Granada.
She completed her doctoral thesis at the Spanish National Research Council’s Zaidin Experimental Research Station in Granada. She was awarded her Doctorate by the University of Granada in 2013 for her thesis on Molecular Biology and Genetics. During that time, she published communications for congresses and scientific articles for specialist magazines.
In 2013, she completed a Master’s Course in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Alicante and Instituto Bernabeu. She was the only student to be granted a Rafael Bernabeu Foundation scholarship. That same year, she became part of the Instituto Bernabeu Embryology and Molecular Biology laboratory staff.
