Dr. Mohammed Agdi is a pioneer expert physician in reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and a second post-doctoral fellowship in advanced gynecologic endoscopic surgery from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Mohammed received his medical education at King Saud University – Abha branch. Then he performed and completed his residency training at King Abdulaziz Medical City of National Guard and earned the Saudi Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Mohammed shared the foundation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Reproductive Medicine Department at King Fahad Medical City, where he was the director of reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship program. Concurrently, he was working as assistant professor and Ob-GYN student-course director at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Dr. Mohammed is an experienced fertility doctor using all aspects of assisted reproductive technology and has assisted thousands of couples in achieving their dreams. He is often regarded as the leader of successful IVF program; the center pioneered both the technology of blastocyst embryo transfer, which increases the success of reproductive treatment, and embryo vitrification program in which the frozen-thawed blastocyst has excellent successful rate. In addition to his interest in reproductive medicine, he has expertise in operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
Dr. Mohammed is a researcher and frequently contributes to international reproductive medicine publications. He earned Eric James Molson Award from McGill University in Canada for the best research. He was awarded several times for his proficiency in enhancing infertility treatment and IVF practice and for his contributions in postgraduate education in the field of assisted reproductive technology.
